Gosh, she's a cute one, lah. She looks a lot like you, Nikhita does. And yes, I remember when Jenna started to stand up in her crib - she'd get stuck standing, and in the middle of the night, too, foolish child, so that she was often screaming for us to come rescue her. She has such a nice hairdo, I must say! My babies were all bald fuzzies till about a year old. Thanks for posting all these photos - makes the distance seem a little less.
It's funny that you say she looks like me...most people say she looks totally like Henry. But I prefer your version of course :)
The little monkey pulls herself up with whatever support she can find (including our legs) ALL THE TIME. It's a headache trying to baby-proof the house so she doesn't hurt herself. You don't always know which parts can be a hazard, do you? :(
I started sewing at 9 years old. Yes, I was that child who cut old table cloths to make floral printed dresses for her stuffed animals. Two decades later, I quit a steady career in teaching to start my own business in the apparel industry. It's been a couple more decades and I can't seem to stop (yes, I have tried). So with a sense of joyous resignation, I continue to create custom clothing and patterns, and find time to teach drafting and sewing at my studio and online.

She looks damn happy standing there, like gangsta only... I oso wont dare to force her to sit!
Alas, far too often you won't know what'll hurt them until they've gone and fallen on it. Fortunately, they bounce.
She is a beautiful child. :)
